Live in Motion Foundation is proud to recognize Adrienne Hill MHA, CPO(L),FAAOP as the recipient of the 2026 Educate to Elevate Scholarship, a $7,500 award supporting orthotics and prosthetics educators and faculty pursuing advanced academic degrees.
Adrienne is pursuing a Doctor of Health Administration at Virginia University of Lynchburg, further developing the knowledge and leadership skills that will strengthen her contributions to O&P education and the profession.
The Educate to Elevate Scholarship invests in the people who prepare the next generation of O&P clinicians. As the profession continues to evolve, highly prepared educators are essential to advancing evidence-based teaching, strengthening clinical training, and ensuring future practitioners are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
By supporting educators as they expand their expertise and credentials, Live in Motion Foundation is helping strengthen the foundation of O&P education and build a workforce prepared to meet the changing needs of patients and communities.
When educators grow, the profession rises. We congratulate Adrienne on this achievement and look forward to the impact her continued education and leadership will have on O&P education and the clinicians she helps prepare for the future.
Adrienne Hill MHA, CPO(L),FAAOP is transforming the minds of the next generation of O&P Professionals as the MSPO Program Director and Clinical Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University. She earned her Master’s degree in Health Administration atthe George Washington University School of Public Health; and her B.S. in Physics and Mathematics at Spelman College. She is now in her final year at Virginia University ofLynchburg’s Doctor of Health Administration program.
Adrienne is a certified and licensed Prosthetist Orthotist after completing post-baccalaureate courses at Newington Certificate Program through the University of Connecticut. Her most recent clinical role, she served as the Area Clinic Manager at Hanger Clinic in Atlanta GA. During her 17-year career tenure, she has had the opportunity to experience different aspects of O&P through clinical care, patient advocacy, and mentorship.
These experiences have reinforced Adrienne’s love for the field and fueled her determination to promote the profession through community outreach. Adrienne is a true ambassador of O&P and a shining example of educational and clinical excellence. Adrienne is an active volunteer in the O&P Field. She serves as Director at Large on the AOPA Board of Directors and with the Academy as a member of The Collaborative for Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee.
“This scholarship means more to me than I can fully express. Pursuing my doctorate has been a five-year journey marked by persistence, sacrifice, and the courage to change direction when I realized my first program was not the right fit. Today, as I near completion of my Doctor of Health Administration, receiving this scholarship feels like the profession recognizes that when we invest in educators, we strengthen students, the field, and ultimately the patients we serve. I hope to pay that investment forward by empowering the next generation of O&P clinicians through education, mentorship, and lifelong learning.”
